The Scoop on Groups and Loops
There is a lot of benefit to joining and networking with others who are in the same business as you are. For creative entrepreneurs, there are plenty of organizations, private groups and email lists to go around. (I know about the writerly ones, so those are the ones I’ll discuss.) We go to these loops and groups to share our wisdom, our knowledge, our experiences and above all else….to bitch.
We bitch about everything Amazon.com does. They are the evil empire, our fellow au

The Little Pebble
I’ve been mesmerized by the first season of the new TV series Touch since it began. In the show, a little boy who cannot or will not speak, played brilliantly by young actor David Mazouz, is somehow able to see the connections between everything in our world. He can see where things go wrong if any of the connections aren’t made, and he manages to get his father (Kiefer Sutherland) to help him make sure those connections do happen. It’s an amazing series, made more amazing

The Book That Writes Itself
I’m having the rare, delicious experience every writer dreams about; the book that is writing itself. It’s like magic. And as I’m blissfully relishing it, I’m also trying to figure out what might have instigated it. Because it seems to me that all my books used to come this easily, and now, or lately at least, it almost never happens. I hadn’t realized it until it started happening again. The last book I wrote seemed to be the turning point. I was in the middle of a trilog
