Puppy Love
Here's what happened.
We saw an ad for a 7 month old female English Mastiff named Rosie, and we thought she might be the one. But every time we made a date to see her, the owners backed out, and after two weeks they told us they’d given her to a friend. Rosie’s job was to let us know we were ready for another dog. Then we saw an ad for some other pups, and we went to see them, but they didn’t turn out to be what we expected and it just didn’t feel right

Accountability and Time Management for Creative Business People
A lot of writing friends and I have discovered some extremely helpful planning calendars that help us to keep accountable. We’ve been sharing our daily, weekly and monthly career goals, and sharing again in hindsight, what got done, what didn’t, how we can do better next time. I’ve been setting more and more goals. In the first 3 months of 2016, I rewrote 3 entire novels, packaged them, promoted them, and launched them, totally revamped two websites, wrote 22 blog posts, star

“Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy” and Other Myths
They say you have to work hard to get ahead. They say you should keep your shoulder to the wheel and your nose to the grindstone. Seriously? Wheels are shaped the way they are so that they’ll roll with minimal effort.
Putting your nose to a grindstone would be an extremely painful and useless thing to do!
After last week’s post about joy and alignment, one commenter wanted to talk about action, so that’s what we’re focusing on this week. Action. Work. I want to start with

Snowblog!
We finally got snow here at Serenity! I’ve been waxing happy over the 40 degree winter temps and how I can go running outdoors several times a week (Cause I’m recently tough enough to run outside in winter, but still too wimpy to do it if it’s less than 35. One day I did it at 27. Didn’t like it. Don’t do stuff I don’t like. ‘Nuff said.) But back to the subject. I was really enjoying the warm winter. And then today, I woke up to the most breathtakingly beautiful snowf
