Manifestation 101
One of my inspired ideas has come to life, and I just want to tell you the process of how it happened, so you can recognize when it’s happening to you. (Hint: you are ALWAYS in one stage or another of this. Although some of us have to experience unwanted to generate the big idea, and others of us have a little trouble shifting focus off the problem and onto the solution.) It happened in spring I wanted a shop like this one! I was going to create a shop like this one. I was. T

How to Catch Success
“The problem with chasing success is that you usually don’t know when you’ve caught it.”—Maggie Shayne Click To Tweet And that’s because our goals are constantly changing, evolving, growing and expanding. But a life spent in pursuit of something one can never quite catch, is an unsatisfying life. We can change that, though, with the simple exercises I give in this post. Top 5 Reasons You’re Not Happy: GUILT
So we get a little success and we feel terrible about all the people who don’t have any success at all. We make a little money and feel badly for those who have none. But let’s get serious about this now. What does one thing have to do with the other? What We Live Has No Relation to What Anyone Else is Living If we were failing instead of succeeding, would other people be more successful? If we were broke instead of able to pay our bills, would poor people have more money tha

Breaking Through Your Abundance Blocks
So last week we talked about how we can block our own success and abundance by harboring deep beliefs we might not be aware of, and we discussed one of them: “I’m not one of those people.” Read the post to get over that.
This week we’re going to discuss one of the biggest blocks any of us ever experience. The monster we call GUILT.
We have this warped notion that there is a limited amount of wealth in this world. We look at wealth like a pie, and we believe that if we take

Believe Your Way to Success
You'll Always See Proof of What You Believe When you have a strong belief, that belief is a magnet for things that match it. The best example of this in our culture came on May 6th, 1954 when Roger Bannister ran a mile in 3 minutes, 59.4 seconds. Up until then, a common belief was that humans were physically incapable of running a mile in less than four minutes. But since then, the under-4-minute mile has become so commonplace that even gifted high school athletes are achiev

The Scoop on Groups and Loops
There is a lot of benefit to joining and networking with others who are in the same business as you are. For creative entrepreneurs, there are plenty of organizations, private groups and email lists to go around. (I know about the writerly ones, so those are the ones I’ll discuss.) We go to these loops and groups to share our wisdom, our knowledge, our experiences and above all else….to bitch.
We bitch about everything Amazon.com does. They are the evil empire, our fellow au

THREE SECRETS TO SUCCESS
This week I’m going to give you three secrets that will open the floodgates of success for you if you follow them consistently. Last week, I gave you homework. You were to stop complaining, and start counting your blessings by listing ten wonderful things that happened to you each day, right before bed. Did you do these things? If you didn’t, try starting them now.
